My Love Affair With Life

Believe in yourself like it's a religion.

In this lifetime, all that matters is believing in yourself and the power of one. The power of one is the alignment within and the accepted notion that we all came from the same place. We are all one, reflections and mirrors of one another.

No matter the distance, we are always connected through the heart and soul. Being here together is beautiful and shows how much we really need each other. Every piece of this Earth is connected. Whether that be land to shore, heart to the body, trees to their roots, humans to their families; we all strive for a common underlying truth, love.

Love is the master of it all and being able to feel, touch, taste, hear, and see love offers a new level to life. There is never a way to not be connected. Dead or alive, this is our home base and where we flourish, learn, and discern. Accessing higher levels of consciousness resembles finding the truth, the source, the treasure. The truth, source, and treasure is… you! You are the gold. Your hands, body, feet, heart, and soul are the treasure. There is nothing to chase when it is all within. That’s the secret nobody wants to find out! Oops! We are the ones who determine our success and future. It is us. It is you.

In life, many will try to stop you. Keep on navigating with an open heart and an open soul. A rabbi, in Tzfat, Israel, once shared with me that horrible things are going to happen to you. Without those horrible things happening, you will not shape into half the person your journey calls for. I know we end up at the same place after this life but it’s the route you take to get there that matters most.

Make it a peaceful ride. Think about your actions and forgive yourself. This is a life where you get exactly what you ask for; internally or externally. How cool is that! See, the thing is, life will end very fast. I am sure our grandparents are confused about how they got to the point they are at. I never thought I would be going into my senior year of college soon. We age! Our parents and grandparents are such beautiful examples of evolution. We will be them one day, if not, already. I only wish to age with passion and peace.

Sometimes I cannot believe I am alive. Can you? Like wow. We are really playing the game of life. This is really my love affair with life! Haha.

I can not thank the universe enough for allowing me to participate in this life. Cheers to every soul I have connected with and grown from. Cheers to knowing how protected we are. Cheers to experiencing heaven on Earth and knowing there are powers within. Cheers to knowing anything and everything is possible.
